Uninterested.
One thing I am uninterested in doing in 2020 is doing shit just for the sake of doing shit. I’m sorry (not sorry) for the profanity. I’m grown though.
These are a few things I am tired of hearing y’all tell people they need to do for the sake of looking busy…
1. I am not TF mending relationships in 2020.
Get with it or get LOST! I am exhausted in more ways than I knew were possible this year, and adding the stress of making a square fit into a circle didn’t make the cut on my list of things that rent space in my mind.
2. I am not TF moving out until I am good and gotdang ready to do so.
We place so much emphasis on people moving out of their parents’ house that these people ain’t even ready for such endeavors! I know several people who have tried on their big girl panties and found out they still needed a little assistance from their pullups. Moving back home is not on my agenda. When I move out Ima thug it out.
3. I am not TF liking nice guys because I am single and they possess the required and desired appendage.
Y’all ain’t about to make me feel bad for not forcing romantic energy on perfectly decent people because I’m 33 and single. All nice boys are not meant to be involved with me to that capacity. You look good on paper, but that won’t prevent this hard “no”.
a. Hell, this goes for any man. I am uninterested in getting a man so I can validate my life through social media.
b. This can go for kids, too! There are no kids anywhere in sight right now. That is okay. Stay out of my womb!
4. I am not TF trying drugs of any kind.
I have maintained a perfect record of not having put drugs to my lips (except my occasional brown liquor, if that counts). This POV is pretty self explanatory, and ew… (no shade to my weed smoking friends, but also still ew).
5. Last, but not least, I will not be going back to school for any reason.
I would literally need to be paid checks of large amounts to consider it. I am not convinced of its worth and relevance in my life.
